The Introduction

The Walk Across the Country Starts Now

Hey kids,

I basically clicked everyone on my mailing list so many of you I may not have talked to in some time, others I’ve already told you about this, but the walk is on.

FOR EVERONE IN NYC Ingrid (my girlfriend) and I are having a going away party Wednesday night (March 12) at 9pm at Shades of Green. Shades is on 15th and Irving St. and we’ll be there until they kick us out at closing.

FOR EVERYONE WHO DOESN’T KNOW WHAT THIS IS ABOUT we’re leaving the day after the party to go down south to Savannah with the cat and will be heading off on foot through the back roads of the good ole US until we hit Seattle.

FOR EVERYONE in general we wanted to let you know we have a website that’s still in the process of going up, but soon should be working, that you’ll be able to follow us on, keep in touch with us, see our pics off our digi cam, and watch the wonderful map we’ve created to see where we are. Most importantly, you’ll be able to let us know if we’re anywhere near someone you might know who might want to let us camp in their backyard, crash on their couch, sleep in their beds, or some other sort of bedding/hanging out arrangement where we could meet new people and benefit from the comforts they might be able to provide as well. Anyway, the site is www.dontforgetus.net which Ingrid’s sister is putting up for us. I almost forgot that we also have a new cell number, (201) 704-8056.

I guess that’s about all I have to say so feel free to write back, I haven’t talked to lots of you in some time, and a few of you I have not even really gotten to know all that well, just made friends for about an hour or two then never saw again, so let me know how you are as well if you like. Okay, enough rambling, hope to hear from all of you at some point or another.
